Beaulieu Area Rugs

Beaulieu of America was established in 1978 by Carl and Mieke Bouckaert as a producer of affordable polypropylene oriental rugs. In 1981, Beaulieu became the first manufacturer to produce its own fiber, extruding polypropylene. In the mid-1980s, Beaulieu began to diversify its manufacturing operations, acquiring broadloom manufacturers Conquest and Interloom.
